Sample Answer: Group A- Water Force
Moving water is the major force of erosion. Rain carries away bits of soil and slowly washes away rock particles. Streams and rivers wear away, creating larger and larger valleys. Erosion by water changes the shape of coastlines. Waves constantly crash against shores. They pound rocks into pebbles and reduce pebbles to sand. Water sometimes takes sand away from beaches. This moves the coastline farther inland.
Erosion is the wearing away of the land by forces such as water, wind, and ice. Erosion has helped to form many interesting features of the Earth's surface including mountain peaks, valleys, and coastlines.

Instructions
Welcome 4th Grade :-)
Today you will become investigators by browsing the web on information how water, wind, ice, and vegetation causes erosion. The class will be divided in four groups of three, and each group with research about one of the forces that causes erosion. Your findings should consist of 3-4 complete sentences. You should also attach pictures to your post which relates to your findings.
2. Once you have read all the information on the web page, focus on your group's assigned force (Group 1: Water) (Group 2: Wind) (Group 3: Ice) (Group 4: Vegetation)
3. Make sure you record your findings in your own words on your science classroom notebook first and then rewrite it on your post by also attaching a picture which relates to your findings.
5. For more information on the forces of erosion click on this addition resource --> Erosion 2
